Another couple of years passed and then this flew out of the nest, a sublime piece of electronica from label boss Antikue.
Biog:
Antikue returns for Absent's 5th release with more brooding lush soundtracks in the shape of the 'Mostly Shattered EP', drawing a line in the sand between glitch workouts and ambient drifting.
The bleeping edged 'Mostly' gets the EP underway with its foreboding synth melodies underpinned by interweaving digital beats and magnetic riffs. 'Gifen Raideo's circular bass hook and incessant rhythms lay the foundations for more rich pad work before Falls & Regis get their hands on 'Mostly' for a supercharged blast of cut-up thrashing, leaving Antikue to bring the EP to a close with 'Shattered's fragmented soul.
